About the project

During a trip to Australia, I had the chance to rent a Tesla for a week, and the experience was nothing short of transformative. The EV charging infrastructure there left a lasting impression, showcasing how thoughtful planning can elevate the electric vehicle experience.

What stood out was how effortlessly I could locate EV chargers using Tesla’s built-in navigation system. It felt like the entire network was designed with the user in mind—simple, intuitive, and hassle-free. Charging stations were strategically placed in areas where people could make the most of their time. While the car charged, I could grab a coffee, explore a local shop, or simply relax—making the experience far more enjoyable than traditional refueling stops.

Product Design

Renting Tesla and exploring its charging infrastructure was a lightbulb moment. It reinforced the belief that building EV infrastructure isn’t just about technology—it’s about designing an ecosystem where convenience meets sustainability. Inspired by this, I’ve channeled these learnings into projects focused on creating EV networks that prioritize user experience, accessibility, and integration with everyday life.
